Each StableWoman™ piece is crafted to order through our trusted production partners in the UK, Latvia, and the USA.
This approach ensures exceptional quality, supports sustainable manufacturing, and helps us reduce waste—so you receive something truly worth waiting for.

  • Sun shirts/base layers — made in the EU (Latvia)

  • Socks — proudly made in the USA

How do import regulations affect orders to the U.S.?

With recent changes to U.S. import rules and the de minimis exemption, some shipments from the UK or EU may now incur duties or handling fees when entering the U.S.

  • All StableWoman™ products are correctly classified with HS (Harmonized System) codes

  • Accessories: typically fall under a 10% UK tariff rate

  • Sun shirts/base layers: carry a 20% EU tariff rate

  • Socks: made in the USA, so no tariffs apply

We continue to see most shipments clear smoothly, and we provide complete customs documentation to help ensure a quick and easy delivery process.

Who is responsible for duties and taxes?

  • Retail customers (Direct-to-Consumer): Any import duties, VAT, or handling fees charged by your country’s customs office are the responsibility of the customer. These fees, if applicable, are collected directly by the carrier or customs authority before delivery.

  • Wholesale retailers: As standard in B2B trade, import duties, VAT, and local taxes are the responsibility of the retailer. StableWoman™ provides transparent, accurate paperwork with every shipment to minimize delays.
