About the Designer

"As a digital artist, I combine artistic vision, modern graphic design, cutting-edge AI, and a deep passion for horses and equestrian sport to create unique designs that bring fresh creativity to timeless, affordable luxury pieces."

Founded by me, Marya Hoffman, StableWoman™ is the culmination of a lifelong journey through the equestrian and creative worlds. With over 50 years of experience with horses and 30 years as a professional graphic designer and digital artist, I’ve had the privilege of working with numerous printers, publishers, and corporations, shaping visual stories with precision and heart.

Art truly is in my DNA. My mother was a successful fine artist and graphic designer, and her creative spirit lives on in my work. From a young age, I was immersed in a world of creativity and horses—two passions that have defined my life and career.

StableWoman™ began as my freelance design studio born from the fusion of these passions. Over time, it evolved into a brand dedicated to celebrating the strength, grace, and grit of women, especially horsewomen. Inspired by the resilience I’ve witnessed in the equestrian world, StableWoman™ has grown into a broader symbol of empowerment for all women who rise above life’s challenges.

While I’ve always been an artist, the equestrian world has forever held my heart. In my fearless younger years, I exercised race horses and rode hunters and jumpers. Later I transitioned to dressage with my longtime heart horse, aptly named My Therapist. I also worked for several trainers and spent pre-design career years in retail saddlery sales. These days, I share my creative space with my beloved Borzoi hound, Yeva, whom I affectionately refer to as 'my pony.'

After decades of riding and working with horses, stepping away due to injury was one of the hardest transitions I’ve faced. But it didn’t sever my equestrian spirit—instead, it deepened my connection and opened the door to a new chapter. Through StableWoman™, I channel a lifetime of passion into thoughtfully designed pieces that honor the strength, elegance, and resilience of women who live boldly—in and out of the saddle.

The StableWoman™ brand reflects the powerful bond between women and horses, embodying beauty, strength, and unshakable spirit. Through responsibly crafted accessories and apparel, I aim to help women tap into those same qualities within themselves.

While this business is still in its early stages, I hold a long-term vision of giving back through causes that uplift and empower women. In the future, I hope to support organizations such as para-equestrian programs, women’s health initiatives, and equine rescues. I also hope to sponsor classes at horse shows as a way to champion the equestrian community and bring visibility to the values StableWoman™ stands for—strength, resilience, and the power of women supporting women.
